Everest Base Camp

The main highlight of The Everest Base Camp Trekking is the walk up to Kala Pattar ("Black Rock") peak, a magnificent view point at 5545 meters, offering astonishing views of Mt. Everest and its surrounding mountain peaks. The Everest Base Camp Trekking is specially designed to fulfil the dream of many people of experiencing the celebrated route to the base of the world's highest mountain.

The Everest Base Camp Trekking takes us through the Dudh Kosi, Bhote Kosi and Imja Kola rivers, all with bluish melted glacier water, past beautiful water streams and, below 4000 meters, beautiful green forests with much wild life. Past the tree line, above 4000 meters, the green pastures fade away and pass control to rocky "moon-like" surroundings. The EBC trek gives an insight into the lives and culture of the Sherpa people. This stunning EBC trek visits both, Everest base camp and Kala Patar (5555m), a viewpoint recognised as the best vantage point to see Mount Everest which is a premier goal for many adventurous walkers in the Himalaya.
