Shivapuri - Nagarkot Trek is one of the finest trekking routes around Kathmandu valley. Shiva Puri – Nagarkot Trek starts from Budhanilkantha, sleeping Bishnu with snake and continues through a bank of holi Bagmati River and forest. This Shiva Puri – Nagarkot Trek offers a rich insight into the lives, history, culture and religion, together with the daily toil in the fields of its inhabitants. Shivapuri Village (2729m) is a true spirit of Nepalese village experience and hospitality. It is just 25 km from the capital; Kathmandu. This trek offers various activities to keep oneself busy during the stay be it in the form of Nature Treks and Hikes, Ethnic Village Tours, Bird Watching, Photography or just a simple relaxing leisure. Shivapuri hill (2729m) is the highest point of this trekking. From the top of Shivapuri, we can see western mountain Manaslu, Boudha himal, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Dorjeelakpa, shisapangma and Gaurishankar. During this trekking we can have the breathtaking view of Annapurna Ranges, Manaslu mountain ranges, Ganesh Himal ranges , Langtang ranges, Dorje Lakpa, Melung-Tse, Gauri Shankar, Furi Cha-Chui, Lotse Everest and many more. This Shiva Puri – Nagarkot trek is one of the best trek to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.

Itineraries

Day 01 - Kathmandu to Kakani by drive and walk up to High hill and camp.
Day 02 – trek to High hill – Shivapuri hill.
Day 03 – trek to Shivapuri hill – Chisapani.
Day 04 – trek to Chisapani – Nagarkot.
Day 05 – trek to Nagarkot – Dhulikhel.
Day 06 – trek to Dhulikhel – Kathmandu.
