Shivapuri Trekking is a very interesting trek and lies north to the Kathmandu Valley. The trek provides us the pleasant views of the central and eastern mountain ranges and is a good introduction to Nepalese rural life. The Shivapuri Trekking offers the panoramic views of Mt. Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Boudha himal, Dorjeelakpa, Shisapangma and Gaurishankar.,Langtang and Jugal etc. as well as the fine scenery from pine forests to lush tropical jungle and rhododendron forests. Shivapuri hill (2729m) is the highest point of this trekking. The Shivapuri Trekking is an ideal trip for those who don’t want a long strenuous trek or only have time for a short trek. The Nagarkot view point offers an enjoyable experience that has many different options to enjoy the magic of mountains. Along the way, this track passes some of the oldest temples and buildings in Nepal, thus creating an all-round trek to the best out of a short stay in Nepal.
